The Brockville Country Club junior golf season wrapped up in a whole new light on Sunday, September 6, as young golfers and their families gathered for an unforgettable evening of Junior Glow Golf.
Following dinner at Stanley’s, the juniors headed to the Horn as the sun began to set. Glow-in-the-dark balls, illuminated tee boxes and flags, and plenty of colourful glow gear transformed the course for a fun five-hole round after dark.
The unique event was a fitting conclusion to a busy summer for BCC’s junior golf program. Throughout the season, young players had many opportunities to enjoy the game, build their skills and make new friends through weekly Monday Junior Days, the Adult/Junior Tournament, the Junior Club Championship and the Junior Day Nine-Hole Championship.
Junior Glow Golf added one more memorable experience to the calendar, giving participants a chance to see a familiar course in an entirely different way. While the lights and glow balls created plenty of excitement, the evening also reflected the enthusiasm and community spirit that made the junior season such a success.
A big thank you goes to all the juniors, parents and families who came out and embraced a very different kind of golf. Your participation and support helped make the evening—and the entire junior season—so special.
It was a bright and memorable way to close out the summer, and we hope to see Junior Glow Golf return to light up the Horn again next year!
