On August 9, 2026, our golf club was proud to host a wonderful Adult/Junior Tournament, bringing together players of different generations for a fun and memorable day on the course.

This year’s event featured 26 teams, with each team made up of one adult and one junior. The format was a 9-hole alternate shot, which created the perfect mix of teamwork, strategy, and encouragement. It was a great opportunity for juniors to play alongside adults, share in the challenges of the game, and enjoy the experience of competing as a team.

A Fun Format for All Ages

The alternate shot format added an exciting twist to the day. With teammates taking turns hitting the same ball, communication and trust were just as important as shot-making. Every drive, approach, chip, and putt mattered, and it was fantastic to see players working together, celebrating good shots, and supporting each other throughout the round.

The atmosphere around the course was positive and energetic, with plenty of smiles, friendly competition, and great sportsmanship on display.

Congratulations to Our Winners

A big congratulations goes to Blake and Adam Lindsay, who came out on top as the winners of this year’s Adult/Junior Tournament. Their teamwork and steady play helped them earn a well-deserved victory.

We would also like to recognize our contest winners:

  • Closest to the Pin: Owen Lindsay
  • Straightest Drives: Emerson Russell and Teddy Bilton

Well done to all of our winners and to every team who participated.

Celebrating the Game Together

Events like this are an important part of what makes golf so special. The Adult/Junior Tournament is about more than just the final score — it’s about spending time together, building confidence, learning from one another, and creating lasting memories on the course.

Seeing adults and juniors team up and enjoy the game side by side was a great reminder of how golf can bring people together. Whether it was a first tournament experience or one of many, each team contributed to the success of the day.

Thank You to Everyone Involved

Thank you to all 26 teams who joined us for this year’s event. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and support helped make the tournament a great success.

We’re proud to continue offering events that encourage juniors to get involved in the game and give families the chance to share time together at the club.

Congratulations again to Blake and Adam Lindsay, and thank you to everyone who made the 2026 Adult/Junior Tournament such a memorable day. We look forward to seeing you back on the course soon!
